ConfTool publishes a conference programme as public “Browse sessions” pages, one per day, with every session, paper, author and abstract. Those pages are now enough to build the attendee app from. Paste the address of any public page of your conference on the try-free page, confirm by email, and about 30 seconds later a private preview of your own conference is in the HEPCon app, with a join code for the programme committee. No API key, no file, no account.
What you still tell us
ConfTool prints wall-clock times with no zone, so a preview is built in Central European time; if your venue is elsewhere, you tell us the zone once. The public pages print neither rooms nor tracks, so if rooms matter at your venue, share ConfTool’s programme export instead and the preview is built within 48 hours. The same export route covers a programme that sits behind a login.
When the programme changes
Keep editing in ConfTool. HEPCon re-reads the same link, works out the difference and applies only that, and a moved session can go out to installed phones as a push notification from the organiser dashboard.
