Compare HEPCon with the platforms on your shortlist

Each comparison is written from the other vendor's own published documentation, with the date it was checked on the page. Two questions decide most of them: how your programme gets into the app and stays current as the committee edits it, and what a programme of your size costs.

How to read these comparisons

Each page checks the same six things, because they are the six that decide the choice for a research programme: how the programme gets into the app and whether it stays current when the committee edits it; whether the price is per event or per attendee, and whether it is published; where attendee data is hosted; whether the programme works offline, in a basement lecture hall with no signal; whether LaTeX in titles and abstracts renders as mathematics; and what the organizer gets afterwards, from a usage report to a report for each sponsor.

The claims about the other vendor come from its own documentation and price list, and each page carries the date they were checked. Where a vendor does something HEPCon does not, the page says so. The fastest way to settle the question is still a preview of your own programme, which takes about half a minute from a public link.

HEPCon vs Whova

The agenda comes from your programme link, not a spreadsheet on Whova's template; published prices instead of a quote form; data in the EU rather than the USA.

HEPCon vs Sched

For academic and scientific conferences whose programme already lives in a submission system, and whose attendees need it offline with the mathematics intact.

HEPCon vs Guidebook

For research-driven conferences: synced from the system you run, one fixed price per event, no per-attendee fee.

HEPCon vs EventPilot

Both serve complex scientific meetings. The difference is where the programme lives and whether each event gets its own app or a place in one shared app.
