The Attendee App for Your EDAS Conference

Your TPC ran a rigorous review in EDAS. HEPCon makes sure the resulting programme — symposia, tracks, paper numbers and all — is just as rigorous in your attendees' hands.

The TPC Was Rigorous. The Program PDF Isn't.

Engineering conferences that run on EDAS follow a familiar rhythm: months of TPC coordination, review assignments, camera-ready deadlines — and then, at the finish line, the whole programme is handed to attendees as a PDF and a paper booklet.

Between parallel symposia, a paper's ID is often the only stable handle anyone has ("where is 1570-something presenting?"). PDFs don't answer that in a corridor. HEPCon does: your EDAS programme becomes a native event inside the HEPCon app, searchable by title, author, affiliation, or paper number — offline, on every phone.

EDAS stays your system of record for submissions and review. We work from your program export — no API access, no IT project on your side. See pricing →

What Attendees Juggle Today — and What Replaces It

The current kit
  • A 60-page program PDF, zoomed and scrolled on a phone
  • EDAS paper pages behind a login, one tab per paper
  • A printed booklet that's outdated by the first room change
  • A venue map photographed at the registration desk
One app instead
  • The full programme offline — sessions, symposia, abstracts, authors
  • Search by paper number, author, or keyword in one query
  • Personal schedule with conflict awareness across parallel symposia
  • Floor plans, room locations, and push notifications for changes

How EDAS Structures Map into the App

Engineering programmes have their own shape. We keep it.

Symposia and tracks → filters

Multi-symposium congresses keep their structure: each symposium or track becomes a filter dimension, so attendees see their community's sessions without losing sight of the plenaries.

Paper IDs → searchable handles

EDAS paper numbers are preserved on every contribution and indexed in search — the ID culture your community already uses keeps working.

Session chairs → visible roles

Chairs and speakers are listed per session with their affiliations; every person's talks are collated on one page.

Programme updates → deltas, not re-imports

Send an updated export when the TPC reshuffles a session — we compute the difference and attendees' phones update, with push notifications for room moves.

Built for 5,000 papers. Effortless at 50.

FAQ

EDAS + HEPCon, answered

Is there a mobile app for EDAS conferences?

Yes — HEPCon publishes your EDAS programme as an event inside the HEPCon app, fully browsable offline. You keep EDAS for submissions and review; we deliver the attendee layer from your program export.

Can attendees search by EDAS paper number?

Yes. Paper IDs are preserved and indexed — typing a paper number finds the talk, its session, room, and time in one step.

We run a multi-symposium congress. Does the structure survive?

It does — symposia and tracks become filters, parallel sessions render side-by-side, and each symposium's chairs and papers stay grouped the way your TPC organised them.

What exactly do you need from us?

A program export from EDAS (CSV/Excel) or your public program page — plus a logo if you want branding. Preview in 1–2 business days; evaluate free with your live data, with the go-live decision due one week before your event.
